My Life in Books 2011

31st August 2011

Last year Elyse at PCN (Pop Culture Nerd) hosted a great meme, sort of a Mad Libs with book titles. I had such a great time with last year’s post, so when I saw her post, I decided it was perfect timing! You simply fill in the blanks with book titles.

One time at band/summer camp, I Let the Great World Spin (McCann).

Wait. I was supposed to jump off the rope into the creek? I missed that part.

Weekends at my house are Tales of the City (Maupin).

Which is also why guests need A Lesson in Secrets (Winspear).

My neighbor is The Hangman’s Daughter (Potzsch).

That’s why I don’t need an alarm system.

My boss is Among the Mad (Winspear).

No, really.

My ex was The Devil in the White City (Larson).

Need I say more?

My superhero secret identity is Silver Sparrow (Jones).

Wouldn’t that be a cool costume?

You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry because One Good Turn…  (Atkinson).

…deserves another. ahahaha! AHAHAHA! (yes, that’s my evil laugh)

I’d win a gold medal in Love, Lies & Liquor (Beaton).

Only on days that end in y.

I’d pay good money for Casino Royale (Fleming).

Or its main hunk, James Bond, or the main hunk who plays Bond in the film….none other than Daniel Craig himself. *sigh*

If I were president, I would Live and Let Die (Fleming).

I’m a hard ass, what can I say?

When I don’t have good books, I ask When Will There be Good News? (Atkinson).

But thank goodness, as you guys can tell, I normally have good books.

Loud talkers at the movies should be Long Gone (Burke).

The only question is how…You mean I never told you about The Funny Man (Warner) and An Accident in August (Cosse) he once had? Oops. Never mind.

Join in – either in comments or a separate post. I’d love to see what your book titles say about you.
